Outdoor Learning

Our outdoor area at Killowen is like another classroom. All of the learning is planned for in the same way as indoors. We go out every day in all weathers and put on boots and puddlesuits to keep us warm and dry. Children have the opportunity to make potions in the mud kitchen, construct with real equipment, climb and balance and experience natural resources as well as creative and imaginative play. It's lots of fun!
