Visit from the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children
This morning, KS2 pupils had the privilege of welcoming Chris Quinn, the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children, to our school. Organised by the School Council, the visit offered a valuable opportunity for students to learn about the legislative process and the importance of children's rights.
Mr. Quinn engaged the pupils in an interactive session, explaining how laws are made and why it’s essential for children to understand and advocate for their rights. The visit sparked thoughtful discussions and inspired our young learners to think critically about their role in society and the importance of having their voices heard.
We are grateful to Mr. Quinn for taking the time to visit and for empowering our students with knowledge that will help shape them into active, informed citizens
