P7 November Recap
November has been a busy and exciting month in P7, filled with learning, creativity, and community spirit!
Busy Ants Maths This month, pupils began working with the Busy Ants Maths scheme. They have been developing their numeracy skills further, focusing especially on data handling and time. Everyone has shown great determination and enthusiasm as they build confidence in these important areas.
Children in Need – £5,433.25 Raised! We are incredibly proud to share that, Killowen Primary School, we raised an amazing £5,433.25 for Children in Need . Thank you to all family and friends who supported this cause through sponsoring our pupils to walk 25 laps of school! Your generosity will make a real difference.
Developing Literacy Skills In literacy, P7 have been working hard to strengthen their writing and language skills. A highlight of the month has been exploring synonyms and antonyms. This has helped pupils expand vocabulary, refine word choice and add detail to their writing. We have now begun to look at narrative writing in P7, a great opportunity for pupils to be creative!
After SEAG celebrations P7 enjoyed a pizza party to celebrate the end of SEAG. P7 have been working extremely hard in the first term. A well deserved treat!
